Robert received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from California State University Fresno and his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law as a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship.
Prior to joining Goldman Magdalin Straatsma, LLP, Robert worked with the State Fund of California as the Deputy Chief Counsel in charge of all Workers’ Compensation litigation within the Orange County region. Robert also oversaw State Fund’s Appellate and Complex Legal Units. Robert has extensive experience in the area of litigation, personnel management, policy making, and claims operations within the Workers’ Compensation insurance arena. Prior to practicing Workers’ Compensation, he worked with businesses and corporations with an emphasis on international business transactions, contract negotiations/management, and dispute resolutions.
On his free time, Robert enjoys traveling with his wife and playing golf.
